Get the widget ready

Make sure your iPad runs iPadOS 17 or later. Check in Settings, then General, then Software Update.

Add the widget to your Lock Screen

Wake your iPad and touch and hold the Lock Screen. Unlock with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode if asked.
